Lightening Wayne came into our rescue program on May 24, 2017. Lightening Wayne came into our rescue program from an Oklahoma Kill Pen after being saved by the Save our Standardbreds from Slaughter (SOSS) group. The Rescue Network reached out to us and asked if we could assist with taking in 2 Standardbreds that they fundraised to save. Lightening Wayne is a Beautiful, Black, Standardbred, Gelding. Lightening Wayne is estimated to be 21 years of age. Lightening Wayne is a super sweet boy. He is a gentle giant with such kind eyes. He loves attention. Lightening Wayne is supposed to be broke to drive, but we have no way to confirm that. He is broke to ride, however, we would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we don't know when he was ridden last. Lightening Wayne will make someone a wonderful addition to anyone's family. Lightening Wayne stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Lightening Wayne has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental, and hoof maintenance. Lightening Wayne has been adopted to a wonderful family in Wellston, Oklahoma. Lightening Wayne is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this wonderful horse has found the forever, loving family he deserves, where he will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
